In line with the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Science and Technology’s policy of upgrading industry’s innovation through university-industry liaisons, the Graduate Institute of Biochemical and Biomedical Engineering and the Tree King Bio-Technology plan to work together to explore the medical application of Taiwanese native stout camphor trees. Every year, pruned and fallen twigs and leaves of the stout camphor trees will be collected for further analysis and research. This project not only deepens the care for environment, but it also contributes to the achievement of the goal of sustainability through utilizing recyclable natural materials.

The Tree King Bio-Technology is the first enterprise in Taiwan that specializes in the planting, marketing, and sales of stout camphor trees. This cooperation will coordinate strengths of both sides to care for the environment, as well as to potentially develop tea leaves and relevant natural products by using stout camphor trees. In conclusion, we are pleased to be able to nourish, support, and contribute to the restoration and development of Taiwanese native trees.
