Awards presented to scholars of Chang Gung University on the list of World’s Top 2% Scientists

A team of experts from Stanford University published the list of "World’s Top 2% Scientists" in 2021. A total of 47 full-time faculties of Chang Gung University enter the list, ranking first among all domestic private universities. This result also puts CGU in Taiwan’s Top 10 universities with the most World’s Top 2% Scientists. It has also reinforced Chang Gung University as a leading research university with a great global academic influence and outstanding scientific achievements.
In order to recognize the outstanding performance of the scholars on the list, Chang Gung University particularly presented a trophy and a certificate of recognition to the scholars at the university affairs meeting on the 23rd of December, 2021. President Tang praised the outstanding performance of the scholars. The total number of World’s Top 2% Scientists from Chang Gung University exceeds many other national universities, and CGU ranks first among all domestic private universities. The awards include the "2020 World’s Top 2% Scientists and Career-long Achievement" (23 scholars), the “Career-long World’s Top 2% Scientists” (7 scholars), and the "2020 World's Top 2% Scientists" (17 scholars).
