Chang Gung University is avidly recruiting overseas students:Scholarships, bursaries and departmental rebates were announced.

In order to enhance global competitiveness and recruit outstanding overseas students, as well as to provide better services for international students, the Office of International Affairs integrated the international student online registration system this year and re-planned various incentives and facilitative measures for overseas students. These included scholarship and bursary schemes, the online application and admission system for international students, and exchange activities, etc. We also improved the registration process and created a friendly study environment for overseas students, hoping to further enhance the quality of overseas students and boost their motivation to study at Chang Gung University.

The online registration system for overseas students:

This is the first time for overseas students to apply for admission to the university by uploading their documents directly through the online system.  This approach could increase the convenience of overseas students' registration and accurately track and trace the progress of their registration.

Scholarships and bursaries

By introducing the new scholarships and bursaries, the willingness of overseas students to study at Chang Gung University and the international recognition of the school will be increased.

(1)Master’s and doctoral students can receive extra scholarships and bursaries through the GRE examination.

In addition to the various scholarship and bursary schemes for master’s and doctoral overseas students in previous years, the overseas doctoral students enrolled in the year 2022 can receive at least NTD$ 30,000 per month. If students pass the GRE examination, they can receive an additional amount of scholarships and bursaries.

(2)50% of the income from overseas undergraduate students’ tuition and miscellaneous fees will be rebated to the department (degree program).

In order to encourage departments and degree programs to recruit overseas undergraduate students, the University came out with the "Bachelor's Class (Department and Degree Program) Rebate Fund" scheme. The department will be getting a rebate of 50% of the overseas students’ tuition and miscellaneous fees (including foreign, overseas Chinese, China, Hong Kong, and Macao students).

In addition to the above-mentioned incentive measures, in order to create a friendly study environment for overseas students, the University planned to set up a Muslim prayer room on the 3^rd floor and 11^th floor of the First Medical Science Building, so that overseas students can study with peace of mind.

The Office of International Affairs will initially focus on stabilizing the operation of the university's international student online registration system and continue to manage the recruitment of overseas students and student exchanges. In view of the internationalization of the university, the Office of International Affairs will implement, promote, and execute various plans with overseas students. The Office hopes to provide international educational resources and channels for all the teachers and students, and thus enhance global competitiveness of Chang Gung University.
